Haters: What To Do With Those Who Doubt Your Future
Do you have goals, dreams? Are you happy right here right now? Is there anything that is next on the horizon for you? What if this was it? If it was are you content with you? Are YOU good enough for you?
These aren’t just rhetoric. You should be grinding towards the answers to these every day. When you get the answers to them, work on obtaining what’s necessary to achieve these things. But here’s the catch, no ones going to help you. In fact, 80% of the people will doubt you and try to bring you back down to their reality. They’ll say things like “its impossible, I’ll try, maybe, someday, you’ll never”. Or they will flat out tell you “no, you can’t, your not good enough”. Anything to validate their own insecurities.
Listen, I’ve been around the block and lived in poverty my whole life. Then I threw it all away when I came here, what little I did have. In order for me to get any help at all I have to do it alone. No one is lining up to help me be a better human being. Even when I want to help someone else, I am told no thanks. I have to fight for everything, I mean everything. Friends, my religion, my job, money, belongings, goals, showers, email communication, written communication, support system, my right to live happy, my right to give back. Nothing has been handed to me, not even self-help programs or literature. I’ve literally been told “I’d tell you to seek God, but He doesn’t love you either, your an abomination”.
When I chose to change my life I knew it wasn’t going to be easy. I didn’t know I was going to have to fight this hard for half a chance. But you know what it does for us? It creates resilience. You can spit on me, cuss at me, hate me, revile me, ignore me, forget me, cast me away, write me off, assault me, isolate me, make fun of me, snub your nose at me, call me names, tear my clothes, ridicule me, kick me when I’m down, punch me while I’m up, whatever! But guess what? I’m still here. I’m still standing waiting for my chance to prove I’m not satisfied with the man I was. That I have changed and I have fought for every single step I’ve taken.
But when I accomplish what I have set out to do, I’ll know that it wasn’t because any flesh helped me. No I did it and a whole bunch of God.

If I can keep going, so can you. You are not alone. No, its not just you that seems to have to fight for everything, its the blessed. We have something special waiting for us in the afterlife.

With Love
