A Quick Word    by   Ruth Utnage

Sometimes courage is the ability to look inside and face you. Yourself can and is your biggest enemy. Martin Luther King Jr. said that “…I cannot be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be and you cannot be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be.” We rise and fall, ebb and flow with the waters of tumultuousness that begin with this great machine we are imprisoned in. We must be courageous enough to recognize what we ought to be and strong-minded enough to face our own realities. Weak-mindedness is the product of cowardice and to escape the clenched jaw and the crippling power of self defeat we must be courageous.

I’m about to go give a speech this morning that expands on this topic above.
