Overachiever, or Raising my standards?  part 2 of 2  by    Jonathan Mera

All of my life I've cut corners, and took the easiest route to achieve my goals. I cut in line, I copied homework, I stole, I got other people to do my work, and I have lied to get ahead. Now that I've reached a point in my life where I want to earn everything I acquire, and become a pillar in our community, I take a lot of pride in doing things the right way, and not take any shortcuts. I will try my best to do everything the right way, every time. Because that will help me build new habits, build character, dignity, and most importantly of all integrity!

So if you ask me. No, I'm not being an overachiever, I'm only doing what should be the norm of all society, if we can raise our standards, we can raise our communities. What's your opinion?
