Life Coaching Lesson Two: Take Time To Breathe by Ruth Utnage

On my way into work my life coach, Marshall, appears out of nowhere and hands me a small note that says "Take time to breathe today, at some point stop what you're doing, inhale deeply and exhale slowly and thank the universe for that opportunity."

First I'm thanking water, now I'm thanking the universe for the chance to breathe...I have to say, 24 hours of intentional gratitude and my whole outlook is changing. Suddenly things aren't so hard, I smile more (something I am working on, I'm self-conscious because of my teeth), and these difficult projects that have had me stressed out, I'm getting them done just fine.

There's something to this gratitude thing, say, that Marshall's pretty smart!
