I hit 280 lbs. for my one rep max on squats last night. I am completely surprised by this because I have been on hormones for 1 year 3 months and 4 day now. I thought I was going to be A LOT weaker than that. This is the first time placing any significant weight on the bar since 2011. This girl is proud. =D Now I sit back and wait for the haters to hate. It is only a matter of time before that happens. I have learned to keep my head held high as I do my own thing. It will be a cold day in hell before I allow another person to affect me like they have in the past. I am proud to be a strong woman, both mentally and physically. The independance I am experiencing is liberating and I hope others will be motivated to do the same. Strength comes from within. Change is possible. LOVE, HOPE, JOY, AND PEACE. HumanMe is a platform used to showcase the rehabilitated. Here, we have an eclectic set of viewpoints and come from a variety of backgrounds but we all have one thing in common, we have used our prison time to rehabilitate ourselves and want the public to see what is possible in the incarcerated despite our prison system. This page is not a social media page, the inmates posting here CANNOT respond directly to your comments. You must contact them directly by mail or JPay.
